Greg Fliney, M.D.

 

Gregory Fliney, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment, and eyelid surgery. Dr. Fliney is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Medical Association.


He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Colorado Denver and graduated summa cum laude with degrees in Biology and Psychology. Dr. Fliney completed medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society prior to spending his ophthalmology residency at Yale University where he earned an academic achievement award.


Dr. Fliney is a skilled surgeon specializing in cataract surgery and glaucoma care–offering the latest technology in cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) procedures. He also offers cosmetic care including eyelid (blepharoplasty) and eyebrow (brow lift) procedures.


He enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and spending time with his wife and family.

Menachem Weiss, MD

 

Menachem Weiss, MD, is a fellowship-trained cornea specialist. He has expertise in cataract, refractive and cornea surgery and also provides general eye care with an emphasis on patient-centered communication.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University, Dr. Weiss went on to obtain his medical degree with a distinction in research from the University of Rochester in New York. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas in San Antonio and his fellowship at the University of Miami’s premier Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

Dr. Weiss is a member of the Academy of Ophthalmology and has authored numerous publications. He was recognized by the University of Texas as the 2021-2022 Ophthalmology Resident of the Year.

In his free time, Dr. Weiss is often outdoors, and enjoys swimming, camping, hiking, and biking.

McKinzie Daniels, O.D.

 

McKinzie Daniels, OD, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in human biology, minor in Spanish, and Doctor of Optometry degree all from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. In optometry school, she served as president of the contact lens club and was an associate instructor for ocular biology.

She has been working in Colorado for the last two years as a comprehensive optometrist specializing in scleral contact lens fits. Her passions in eyecare include contact lenses and dry eye.
Dr. Daniels is dedicated to going the extra mile to ensure each patient achieves optimal eye health and vision while making patients feel at ease and taking the time to answer any questions they may have regarding eye-related issues.

When not in the office, she enjoys outdoor activities including figure skating, hiking, and skiing. She also enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Alexia Bounkhong attended the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville for her undergraduate education and earned her doctorate in Optometry from Western University College of Health Sciences in Southern California. She worked extensively in the optometric profession for over 18 years where she held positions as an optician, optical lab coordinator, optometric technician, and eventually as an Optometrist.

Dr. Bounkhong worked in various ophthalmology clinics managing cases in ocular disease, LASIK, Cataract, Corneal Transplant, and many other procedures.

Dr. Bounkhong joined the world of optometry after being diagnosed with amblyopia as a child. She has a passion for primary eye care with an emphasis on ocular disease and surgical co-management.
